1 Absorption muffler

Absorption mufflers rely on sound-absorbing materials to muffle sound.

Sound absorbing material: glass fiber, felt, foam plastic, sintered material, etc.

The principle of sound attenuation is: when the pressurized gas passes through the sound hood, the airflow is resisted, and the sound energy is partially absorbed and converted into heat energy, thereby reducing the noise intensity.

Muffler cover is a porous sound-absorbing material, usually sintered with polystyrene or copper beads. When the diameter of the muffler is less than 20mm, polystyrene is used as the sound-absorbing material to make the muffler cover. When the diameter of the muffler is more than 20mm, the muffler is usually sintered with copper beads to increase the strength.

The muffler sleeve is made of sintered polystyrene particles or copper beads. The gas is discharged through the muffler sleeve. The airflow is resisted. The sound wave is converted into heat energy by the suction mobile pneumatic mixer, which reduces the noise.

Features and application occasions: The absorption muffler has a simple structure and is used to eliminate mid and high frequency noise. It can reduce noise by about 20dB and is widely used in pneumatic systems.

2. Expansion interference muffler

The structure of this type of muffler is very simple, quite a pipe fitting with a larger diameter than the exhaust hole. When the airflow passes through, let the airflow diffuse, expand, bump against the wall, reflect, interfere with each other to muffle the sound inside.

Features: Low exhaust resistance, good noise reduction effect, but the structure is not compact.

Application occasions: mainly used to eliminate medium and low frequency noise, especially low frequency noise.

3. Expansion interference absorption muffler

This type of muffler is a combination of the above two types of mufflers. It is also called a hybrid muffler. The airflow is introduced through the oblique hole. After the room A diffuses, decelerates, and hits the wall, it is reflected into the room B. The airflow beams collide and interfere with each other. The sound-absorbing material laid on the inner wall of the muffler is discharged to the atmosphere.

Using fluid: compressed air

Working pressure: 5kg / cm2 (70psi)

High working pressure: 6kg / cm2 (85psi)

Ambient temperature: -10 ° C ~ + 70 ° C (can only be used when ba is not frozen).

Lubricating oil: IS0VG32 or similar products. (It is necessary to supply oil with a lubricator, 2 ~ 3 drops per minute),

Can be used continuously but can not be operated continuously without load

Inside the air motor cylinder, replace and fill the LUGREASELS-1EH butter (applicable to gear type and piston type) every year.

Must pay attention to when using:

  1. Improper connection of the output shaft of the driven object of the air motor will cause undesirable action or cause failure.

  2. When a fault is found, it should be stopped immediately and must be inspected and adjusted by professional maintenance personnel.

The main reason for the failure of air motors and other air pressure machines is due to the entry of dust and other foreign objects. Before piping, the pipe must be cleaned with compressed air. Be careful not to allow cutting powder, fragments of sealing tape, dust or rust to enter the piping.

It is not allowed to change the diameter of the air pressure machine.

Must pay attention to:

Check whether the rotation direction is correct or whether there is abnormal installation between the driven object and the shaft center.

The speed control and stability of the air motor must be adjusted from the supply air side, so that there will be no back pressure on the exhaust side.

Do not make the motor rotate continuously or at high speed under no-load conditions. If the continuous no-load idling, the rotation speed will be excessively increased, and the air motor will reduce the service life or damage.

In the trial operation with material, use the air regulating valve to slowly increase the number of revolutions to the required number of revolutions. When the high horsepower is reached, if this rotation number is exceeded again, the air motor may be damaged. Pay attention to the correct use of pressure.
